Scallops are in the plan with no supply pathway yet, which makes this the most speculative species we are looking at. The questions are basic ones: where would spat come from, what does the grow-out actually involve, and is the return worth the handling. Some of this is being worked on elsewhere and we would rather learn from it than repeat it.
Does anyone here have experience with scallop culture, or know who is it successfullyl?
